At Bletchley Rugby Club, we believe rugby is for everyone — whether you’ve played for years, never touched a rugby ball in your life, or are simply curious to give it a go.
We’re a friendly, supportive team who work hard on the pitch and have plenty of laughs off it. Our squad is made up of women from all walks of life, all ages, and all levels of sporting experience. What we have in common is a love of the game, a drive to challenge ourselves, and a passion for building each other up.
No Experience? No Problem!
We welcome complete beginners as warmly as seasoned players. Our coaches and teammates will help you learn the skills, build confidence, and have fun while you do it. You don’t need to be super-fit, know the rules, or even own rugby boots — just bring yourself, some comfy kit, and a willingness to give it a try.

Kyle Gibbings | Head Coach
Kyle has been a member of Bletchley for a number of years and with a playing career spanning 20 years - 19 of which with Bletchley, he comes with a vast amount of both playing experience and familiarity with the Club. Kyle has regularly played for the Men's 1st XV and was Vice Captain for them.
Kyle brings with him County experience playing for Bucks County as well as his roles as a player-coach for Zulu Swans 7s. Rugby 7s is the only variation to the Union game that Kyle has under his belt with four years as a Rugby league player for MK Wolves, his experience is vast.
As well as his playing credentials, Kyle's coaching record is extensive with 4 years as the Senior Women's Coach at Bletchley leading them to back to back promotions. Kyle then moved across to the Senior Men's 1st XV and took on the role as Head Coach, before returning to the Women's team in 2023 to take the reins as Head Coach.
Josh Sprules | Forward's Coach
Josh has been playing at Bletchley for over two decades, first joining the Club in 2003 and is the first Player to have over 200 Caps for the Men's 1st XV, in addition to Captaining the side from 2017-2020. Alongside his Club honours, Josh also proudly represents his Country internationally playing for England Deaf where he is again, the most capped England Deaf player.
Josh has been helping to Coach the Women's side for a decade ad-hoc, but has since officially joined the Coaching Team this season as the Women's Forwards Coach. Josh is a welcome addition to our side here at Bletchley and will bring with him a vast extent of experience.
Mollie Bracewell | Assistant Coach
Mollie started her rugby career as a young 11 year-old girl at Evesham Rugby in the tag discipline of the game and continued to play there until her university days where she made her debut for Nottingham Trent Women's side, something she describes as "the best decision I ever made". Her career and skillset went from strength to strength in the Uni days and made her the player she is today! Following the Pandemic cutting her final year of Uni short, Mollie moved to Milton Keynes and sought a new club to continue her love of Rugby and joined Bletchley whereby she grew her flexibility and skillset to cover a number of different positions. Sadly, her playing career was untimely cut short due to an extensive injury, however undefeated, Mollie took this in her stride joining the Coaching team, imparting her skills and knowledge onto the players today in the Club that she loves.
Alex Parris-Hammons
Alex started his playing career young, at just 5 years-old at Dunstable, he has a wide array of experience at a number of different clubs including Dunstable and Tring before joining Bletchley when he was 22 where he played for the Senior’s for 8 years, alongside being a player for the Zulu Swans 7s.
Alex has worked alongside our Mini's teams where he continues to assist in Coaching our 'Little Swans' side, but has joined the Senior Women's coaching side this season. He brings with him skills from the corporate world where his analytical skills will carry across to the Rugby world and provide that pinpoint precision for the Women on match days and breakdown the matches to support Kyle and the coaching team to provide the women with thorough and meaningful training sessions. However coaching just one side isn't enough for Alex, and he continues to help run the Little Swans to make the sessions fun and relevant to grow the future generation of the Club
Having had a number of injuries across his playing career - some of which were serious - Alex is committed in his coaching style to be one that aims to avoid injuries and issues to ensure that there is longevity in his team's playing careers.
