Bletchley 2XV Play in the East Mids table league and work in lots of local friendlies. Training is Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:45pm - 8:30pm at Bletchley Rugby Club, MK2 2HX with our team of quality coaches.

[Paul Allen | Chief Rugby Officer & Head Coach
Paul had a 22-year career in the Bedfordshire and Metropolitan Police but took a three-year career break between 1996 and 1999 to play professional rugby for Bedford, under Director of Rugby Geoff Cooke. Paul has also played rugby for Tabard, Penguins and Hertfordshire.

Paul left the Police in 2012 after which he was appointed as the Director of Rugby at Luton Rugby Club where he led the side to two top-five finishes in his two seasons at the Club. After this, Paul joined Hertford Rugby Club as Director of Rugby and in his three seasons at Hertford he drove the side to finish in the top-six on three occasions before moving to become part of the senior coaching team at Ampthill who were promoted to the second tier of English Rugby - The Championship.

Between 2012 and 2017 Paul was Head of Rugby and the Schools Programme Manager for ‘School of Hard Knocks’ broadcast on SKY TV, taking rugby to young people with challenging life circumstances enabling them to make positive changes to lifestyle, self-esteem and helped to create career opportunities.
