As local derbies go you cannot get much more intense or closer than this one. Milton Keynes and Bletchley left it all out on the pitch and not one member representing their respective teams put less than 100% effort in. The game ebbed and flowed from start to finish and the score kept changing more often than a tennis match. One minute MK would take the lead and then Bletchley would valiantly fight back. The game was intense from start to finish and to name one player who stood out more than the others was a hard task. Emby was like a man possessed making up crucial yards with his running throughout the game and had his finest game in the Bletchley colours. Reggie was all over the pitch, not only running at MK but also making crucial tackles with controlled aggression. Alfie was man of the match with not only 8 tries in the game but also his defensive efforts ripping the ball from MK to ensure that Bletchley continued their unbeaten streak for the season. The final score was MILTON KEYNES 10 – 11 BLETCHLEY and it was only fitting that after all of his gargantuan efforts that Alfie scored the winning try pretty much in the last minute. This was by far the under 10’s biggest test of the games they have played so far and the efforts that they all put in made sure they pulled through together as a team.
