League Rugby gets Underway
As the season’s first league clash, it’s more than just one match—it’s the opening act of our journey through the division. A strong start can set the tone, build momentum, and fire up both players and supporters alike.
The opposition, Reading Abbey, return to this league following their promotion and will bring renewed energy and ambition. Last season saw them finish 6th, with Bletchley achieving 5th place—so expect a closely contested, high-intensity battle when these familiar rivals clash.
Make it a full occasion—what better way to welcome the season than with camaraderie, cheers, and a pint (or two)?
The pitch is set, the first whistle beckons, and the clubhouse will be buzzing. Whether you’re a new fan, a seasoned supporter, or just curious about what rugby brings to life—come down to Manor Fields this Saturday. Back our 1st XV as they kick off the league, soak up the atmosphere, and enjoy a pint in the bar that knows how to bring it.
See you at Manor Fields. Together, we kick off the season—and with your support, we’ll light it up!
