Bletchley Rugby Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Hannell as the club’s new Vice Chairman, taking over the role from Oliver Whitmore. The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Oliver for his dedication, commitment and contribution during his time in the position.

Tom has been part of Bletchley Rugby Club for over 30 years, giving his time, energy and support across multiple areas of the club. A long-standing sponsor and trusted figure within the club, Tom currently serves as Director of Men’s Rugby, a role he will continue to hold alongside his new Vice Chairman responsibilities for the remainder of the season.

A new Director of Men’s Rugby will be announced ahead of the 2026/27 season, ensuring a smooth transition and continued stability within the men’s section.

Widely regarded as a true club stalwart and well respected across the entirety of the club, Tom’s appointment reflects both his deep connection to Bletchley Rugby Club and his ongoing commitment to helping drive the club forward on and off the pitch.

Speaking on his appointment, Tom said:
