Swapping boundaries for breakdowns, Ben makes the move back to rugby after cricket has been his primary focus over the past couple of years. Having previously coached Ben during his youth rugby days, we know exactly what he'll bring to the squad.

A hard-nosed and uncompromising competitor, Ben thrives on the physical side of the game and never takes a backwards step. Whether operating in the back line or stepping into the back row, his versatility, competitive edge and willingness to put his body on the line provide valuable options across the squad.

We're excited to see Ben back on a rugby field and can't wait to see him pulling on the maroon and white this season.

After our first pre-season session, we caught up with Ben for a few quick-fire questions.

Friday night game or Saturday afternoon game? – A Friday night game; it definitely creates a real buzz about the place.
Winning by 1 point or winning by 50? – Winning by one point after a real battle.
Big carry or big tackle? – Big tackle.
Win Man of the Match or win the Boat Race? – Come on... it's got to be the Boat Race!
Team fines or team dares? – Team fines. Yep, 100% team fines!
If you had to choose a Premiership player as a teammate, who would it be? – Owen Farrell.
