It is with great sadness and regret that Bletchley Rugby Club announces the sudden passing of Dave Parker, on Monday 31st August.
Dave was a true stalwart of our club and someone whose contribution to Bletchley Rugby spanned many decades.
A former player, long-serving Club Treasurer, Vice-President Secretary and Trustee. Dave gave an enormous amount of his time and energy to the club he cared so deeply about. His commitment, service and friendship have left an everlasting mark on Bletchley Rugby Club and on the many people who had the privilege of knowing him.
Above all else, Dave was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and friend. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his wife, Mary, daughters, Ellie and Sofie, son-in-law’s Nick and Alistair, and grandson, Reuben, at this incredibly difficult time.
Dave will be greatly missed by everyone at Bletchley Rugby Club, but his contribution to our club and the memories he leaves behind will never be forgotten.
Dave’s Service will take place on Monday 28th September at 2:30pm at:
St Mary’s Church
Church Lane
Thornborough
MK18 2DG
A reception will follow in the village after the service.
We know many from across the Bletchley Rugby Club family will want to attend and pay their respects to someone who gave so much to our club over so many years.
For club members and Vice-Presidents attending, we would ask that Club ties are worn wherever possible as a mark of respect to Dave.
Our thoughts remain with Mary, Ellie, Sophie and all of Dave’s family and friends.
May you rest in peace, Dave.
