Barry passed away on Monday 8th December at Milton Keynes University Hospital, following a battle with leukaemia and he had been unwell for some time.

Barry first became part of the club in the 1980s, alongside his good friend John Mott, when their sons played for our Junior section. Both went on to become Vice Presidents and were familiar faces on the touchline for many years, offering loyal support to the club they cared so deeply about.

Born in Ireland, Barry later returned to live in County Mayo, before moving back locally to Olney in recent years to be closer to his family.

Always ready with a smile and a joke, Barry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
