Bletchley Women have enjoyed an excellent start to the season, recording back-to-back home victories at Manor Fields in dominant fashion. With confidence high and performances improving week on week, attention now turns to Cup action — and their first away trip of the campaign.
Cup Rugby Begins
This Sunday marks the start of Bletchley Women’s 2025 Cup campaign as they make the short trip to Old Northamptonians for Round 2 of the Women’s Junior Cup. Having received a bye in the opening round, this will be their first taste of cup action this season — and their first away fixture of the campaign.
Following two impressive victories at Manor Fields, confidence is high within the squad. The team have shown attacking flair and defensive resilience in equal measure, and they’ll be eager to carry that form into the Cup as they step onto the road for the first time. The squad have shown impressive cohesion so far, with both new faces and experienced campaigners contributing to a strong team culture. Training intensity has been high, and the group will be eager to translate that work onto the pitch in knockout competition.
Local Rivalry and Cup Passion
