This Sunday, our U16 Academy Boys get their league season underway with a big opening clash at home against Wallingford U16s. Kick-off is set for 11:00am at Manor Fields, and it promises to be a cracking contest to launch the campaign.
Just like the senior sides, the U16s have been working hard through pre-season to sharpen their skills, build combinations, and prepare for the challenges ahead. They’ll now be looking to put all that effort into action, with home advantage giving them the perfect platform to start on the front foot.
A Double Weekend of Wallingford Fixtures
This fixture completes a Wallingford double header weekend for the club. On Saturday, our 1st XV host Wallingford RFC in Counties 1, while on Sunday the next generation pull on the Maroon and White to face their U16 counterparts.
It’s a chance to show the strength of Bletchley across the age grades, with both seniors and juniors testing themselves against the same opposition. The Academy match is also a brilliant opportunity for members, parents, and supporters to get behind the young talent coming through the system.
Back the Future of Bletchley Rugby
These boys are the heartbeat of the club’s future, and your support makes a real difference. Whether you’ve just cheered the seniors on Saturday or are fresh to The Manor on Sunday, come down early, bring a coffee, and line the touchline to give the lads the encouragement they deserve.
