Next Saturday marks a significant weekend for the club as both senior squads take to the road for important league fixtures. With valuable points on offer and two very different challenges ahead, it promises to be a defining afternoon for the group.
Oxford Outing: 1st XV on the Road - 14:00 Kick Off
The 1st XV travel to Oxford for a key Counties 1 encounter. Away fixtures at this level always demand intensity, precision and strong squad cohesion, and Bletchley will be focused on delivering a disciplined performance to keep their momentum moving in the right direction.
Oxford will provide a stern test on home soil, but the squad have shown real development in recent weeks and will be looking to make a statement on the road. A committed travelling support could make all the difference. With some challenging league fixtures recently, the boys will be looking to set the path for the rest of the season.
Buzzard Bound: Bletchley 2nd XV in Derby Action 14:00 Kick Off
Just down the road, the 2s head to Leighton Buzzard for a classic local derby. These fixtures are always fiercely contested, full of physicality and intensity, and tend to produce memorable moments.
The group continue to grow week on week, and with the short distance for supporters, this is an ideal opportunity for a strong Bletchley presence on the touchline. With the newly formed Silver Merit League, the 2s will be keen to stamp their mark.
Your Support Matters
With both squads away from home, Saturday will test the collective depth, resilience and determination of our senior setup. Supporters who are able to travel to either Oxford or Leighton Buzzard will be warmly welcomed - every voice and every bit of maroon and white on the sidelines gives the boys a lift.
Let’s take our club spirit on the road and back both teams to deliver strong performances.
