Bletchley Wins Referees' Society 'Friendliest Club' Award |

On Saturday evening 17 May, at the annual East Midlands Referees Society dinner, Bletchley Rugby Club was awarded the ' Gordon Bell' award by the referees association for the friendliest club of the season to its members. The Club has been nominated in the past but this is the first occasion that Bletchley has won this prestigious prize and the club is most grateful to the East Midlands Referees Society for this award. Unfortunately, on the same night Bletchley Rugby Club was celebrating its 60th anniversary at a black tie ball at the Wilton hall in Bletchley with over 340 guests attending so representatives of the club were unable to attend the the dinner. However, Mr Ian Baggott, Chairman of the Society was kind enough to accept the award on the club's behalf.
