The U13s travelled down to Aylesbury on a sunny Sunday morning for the Bucks Plate semi-final.

The game started well with the kick-off, but went downhill from there for both sides. Neither side was able to gain any real momentum, positive play by either team being frustrated by frequent stoppages for infringements. This was particularly true in the first half when the players appeared at times to be unclear about the reason for the whistle being blown.

Aylesbury managed to catch Bletchley in disarray, after one such penalty decision against them, to cross the line for the only points of the game.

The second half was allowed to flow a little more freely, although with not much apparent enthusiasm from the players. The Bletchley forwards got it together and played much better than in the first half to match or better their opponents, but they and the backs were unable to break the Aylesbury defence.
